Jason Jorgensen

The Irrigation Specialist, owned and operated by Jason Jorgensen, has been in business since 1998.

Jason has been in the irrigation repair business since 1994 when he took a job at Lakeside Golf Club in Chestermere, Alberta. Along the way he became the Irrigation Tech at Lakeside and then the Assistant Superintendent.

In 1996, Jason graduated from Olds College with a Horticulture diploma, majoring in Turf Management. Since then he has obtained continuing education credits in order to maintain his Pesticide Applicators License, Canadian Golf Superintendents Association membership, and has had his Alberta Chapter of the Irrigation Association Certification in the past, but has given it up for personal reasons. 

In 2022 Jason decided he had enough of the golf course life and went full time irrigation! He incorporated The Irrigation Specialist in November of 2022. 

Jason has extensive experience in irrigation from large golf course systems to the smallest drip systems for greenhouses and gardens. He specializes in dirty water systems which rely on automated pumps and filtration, but he is always willing to take on any irrigation project! He does all the designing and planning involved in every project The Irrigation Specialist undertakes.
